Julia Hagens grew up in Pella, Iowa. Her career in special education took her to New Mexico and later to a Navy base in Rota, Spain, where she met her husband. His Naval career led them on to Bermuda, Southern California and the Gulf Coast of Florida. Julia’s bold collection of jewelry was inspired by her life overseas and her love for the Southwest. She currently works as a children’s therapist in Phoenix, Arizona, where she resides with her husband and three cats. |

Joyce Nichols was born in Seattle, Washington and raised in San Diego, California. Born to be a Registered Nurse, she spent many wonderful years in the ICU, Hospice and Nursing Research. Lucky enough to retire early, she has been free to pursue her inner artist, taking classes in watercolor and then moving on to jewelry design. Joyce is currently learning techniques in wire wrapping and looks forward to many more years of creating new designs and learning new techniques. Joyce resides in Encinitas with her husband and two cats. |

Rose Uranga spent 16 years in the corporate world in her home town of Reno, Nevada before deciding to pursue her real life’s dream of helping to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Rose relocated to San Diego, California where she helped to develop an international humanitarian relief organization. As a director of the organization for more than 15 years she has traveled extensively to third world countries to provide assistance to victims of disaster and poverty.
Several years ago Rose became interested in jewelry making. Inspired by the beautiful, quality work of other designers, she began creating her own designs which ultimately led her to launch "Rose’s Jewelry Box." |
